About the Dynamic Simulation Laboratory Heading link

The research conducted in this laboratory is focused on the dynamic modeling of complex mechanical and aerospace systems that consist of interconnected rigid and flexible components. The goal is to develop new finite element and computational methods for large-scale multibody systems and address the fundamental issues that deal with small and large deformation problems.

Current projects include:

  • Simulation of Multibody Railroad Vehicle/Track Dynamics
  • Large Deformation Dynamics and Control
  • Large Deformation Dynamics and Control with Application to Robot Arms
